“Turas” is the Irish word for journey, and that’s what Turas Tales is all about: creating stories and experiences from the journeys we take together.
Who We Are
We’re Shane and Clodagh, an Irish couple passionate about exploring the world, from the bustling streets of Southeast Asia to hidden corners far off the tourist trail. Along our journeys, we've discovered a love not only for travel itself, but also for sharing experiences and helping others make the most of their journeys.
Why We Started Turas Tales
Our own travel style is all about freedom, flexibility and full immersion.
We noticed how many tour operators, both at home and abroad, follow the same “big bus” approach with large groups, tight schedules, and little room for personal connection.
That’s not how we travel, and it’s not the experience we want to give. With Turas Tales, we focus on private tours designed around freedom, flexibility, and authenticity. Our goal is to create experiences where you feel less like a passenger, and more like a welcomed guest discovering destinations alongside locals.
Our Vision for the Future
Currently our journeys extend to Ireland and Vietnam. However, having travelled across dozens of countries, we dream of expanding Turas Tales into a truly international travel service, offering unique, small-group tours in the places we know and love all around the world.
